Middle-School kids may giggle but is there any truth that
the number 69 is auspicious for the political careers of Bill and Hillary
Clinton?

Middle-School kids all across America, and this may include
fictional ones like Bill and Ted and/or Beavis and Butt-Head, may have been
giggling their hearts out at the height of the then US President Bill Clinton
and White House Intern Monica Lewinsky scandal back in 1998 when President
Clinton still managed to gain an approval rating of 69-percent – though
eventually his approval rating peaked at 73 percent. But is there any proof
that the number 69 is both auspicious and inextricably linked to the political
careers – both past and future – of Bill and Hillary Clinton?
Dyed-in-the-wool US Democratic Party “Clintonistas” oft
quote the statesmanship skills of then US President Bill Clinton when he
managed for the first time in decades to allow the federal government to amass
a budget surplus of 69-billion US dollars. And yet again Middle-School kids,
then and now still can’t control themselves from giggling their hearts out upon
hearing this particular factoid. But will the number 69 be soon inextricably
linked with Hillary Clinton’s upcoming political career – especially her quest
for the presidency of the United States?
If Hillary Clinton manages to win the 2016 US Presidential
Race, she will be 69 years old when she enters the White House, making her the
second oldest president to be elected in the 200 plus year history of the
United States – just two months younger when US Republican Party stalwart
Ronald Reagan got elected into the White House back in 1980. It looks like the
number 69 could be yet again become an auspicious and inextricably linked
number to the political careers of the Clintons.
